Jones's Nursery

We renovated a second floor kitchen into Jones’s nursery in our new home. I always seem to find one random piece and use that as a starting point to design my rooms. This time it was the area rug. Because I knew the gender but Reid didn’t, I had to try and keep things neutral so I went with a simple, natural and earthy theme.

Accent wall: My Mum and I did this with a sponge and leftover sample paint! It was so simple and done in a day. Check out my Instagram for details.
Lyric decor: I actually made this for my bridal shower! When we moved we found it and I thought it would be perfect in the nursery somewhere. I actually sang this song to Clark and Ada when they were babies ALL the time and we still sing it often. It is from Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Home.
