Holiday | Shop Small Gift Guide

Shop Small.jpg

It has never been more important to shop small after the year we have had. As someone who runs their own small business I know first hand that photographing all of these wonderful families the last few months have brought me so much joy and kept my business afloat.

I’ve done another little gift guide with some of my favorite local (Pittsburgh-ish) or small businesses!

Steel City: They have the comfiest shirts evvvvver. Get them for kids, get them for your spouse, grab one for yourself. Their coffee mugs are sweet too.

Farmers Daughter Flowers: Everything here is magical. Everything.

Christine Elise Creative: Guys, I sing her praises once again. Get all the macrame.

Brambler Boutique: One of my favorite shops for kids stuff, they have clothes and toys. Right now they offer free in store pick up along with free shipping over $75.

Feathers Artist Market & Gifts: This little local shop has something for everyone in the family.

Drift Alchemy: The special lady that owns this shop is a dear friend. I am so excited to support her on this endeavor. I only wish I could get my butt to Michigan to see it in person.

Leila: This jewelry is beautiful, Ada has a bracelet from here from my Mum and we got both her Nana and Grandma necklaces last year. It’s a nice way to get a personalized gift!

Keystone Steel Co: All of their wall decor is so cute. They also have some adorable ornaments right now.

YM Camera: Love this place and their customer service.

Order. NHT: If you’re east of Pittsburgh and want tasty food, this is our favorite takeout place right now. They’re strictly takeout (or catering).

Patti’s Pasticceria: This bakery is BOMB. Treat yo self if you don’t want to do holiday baking.

Commonplace Coffee: “Born our of a desire to love coffee and love people.” What more could you ask for?

New Crescent Brewing Co: Reid and I love their beer. Local, delicious and awesome.

Another way to show support would be buying gift certificates to salons, local restaurants / bakeries / coffee shops or even for photography services. Donating in someones name to a local charity is awesome, too.

Here are a few of my favorites. Biggies Bullies (where we got our sweet Ape.) Beverly’s Birthdays or your local library. (We would not be getting through homeschooling without our wonderful library!) The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and don’t forget your local Fire Department.
