Holiday | One Year Gift Guide

Patagonia Baby Nano Puff Jacket: We love this jacket. I got our first one second hand for Ada 2 years ago. Since then the kids wear these. Clarks will just get passed down to Ada and Ada’s passed down to Jones as the years go on. They’re warm and not too large so they can move around in them and you can secure them safely in their carseats! That was a huge draw for us.

Hape Junior Percussion Set: Hape has some awesome toys. We love all of their musical instruments.

B. toys Bath Set: This Fish and Splish set is adorable. We don’t have it yet but it’s on the list for Jones this year.

IKEA Tunnel: This is the first gift I have bought for Christmas this year. Having active kids I am excited to add this inexpensive toy to the mix.

Nanchen Doll: These are the softest, sweetest, cuddly dolls. We were first introduced to them when we went to Waldorf School. I know they’re pricy but they are so well made.

Grimm Nesting Bowls: Solid winner around here for all ages, honestly. Jones stacks them, Ada uses them as bowls, Clark has his wooden animals use them to “eat” out of. We love these.

Kinderfeets Balance Board: Love, love, love. The kids use it as a slide, a tunnel, a ramp. It has so many uses and is one of the items they use daily.

Squigz: They stick to tables, toys, walls, you… these are fun. My best friend who is a pediatric physical therapist introduced us to these and said they are great for motor skills.

Grimm Wooden Peg Dolls: Another favorite around here. Jones carries these around with him all over the house. Made beautifully, safe for him to put in his mouth and just an overall awesome simple toy.

Nugget: All the rage. We have a climber, so honestly I love this and really want it but we haven’t been able to yet. Fingers crossed we can win a spot in their lottery or they get them back in stock soon!

Melissa & Doug Wooden Blocks: The kids play with these daily and don’t disappoint. I like the fact they are natural so you don’t have to worry about paint chipping.

Pottery Barn Chelsea Kitchen Set: I feel like toy kitchens are a right of passage for first birthdays or first holidays. We currently have a Kid Kraft one which has seen better days so I have been coveting this one.
