Five Year Old Gift Guide.jpg

Art Kit: Clark is into anything arts and crafts right now. This is a really cute kit.

Bike: I think this age is perfect for a bike. We started maybe a year earlier but he really is now starting to take off on it now.

Learning Resource Lab Kit: Another thing Clark is really into is any kind of experiment he can do. Volcanos, seeing what floats or sinks, mixing “potions,” hah. Here is another one from Discovery Kids that looks fun too.

Warmies: The kids got these for a gift last year and they LOVE them. You can warm them up and they have this soothing lavender smell. There are so many cute options.

Holztiger Animals: Durable and worth the money. The kids play with these all of the time. We really really love all of the Holztiger animals. I can’t say enough good things about them!

Legos: Any and all Legos. You can’t go wrong with a single one. This is something Clark is really getting into this year and he can play for hours with them. I love seeing his creativity with the things he builds.

Patagonia Baby Nano Puff Jacket: LOVE.

Melissa & Doug Grocery Store: Pretend play is huge around here. I love this cute grocery store set up.

Elbow Grease: If your kids like monster trucks, our favorite librarian suggested this once and it’s been a fan favorite for Clark. A couple new Elbow Grease books came out so I think think these will be a hit this year!

Osmo: My parents got the kids Osmo for Easter this year. Screen time is something we try to limit (but with the pandemic I think so many peoples screen time rules have changed.) This is a super fun way for the kids to learn and I feel less guilty about it, hah. There are lots of add-ons and it can grow with them which I like.

Magna-Tiles: I don’t know a kid who doesn’t love these. They are pricy but worth every penny.

Rattan Luggy: This is another item I’ve wanted to get. I don’t know about your kids but mine love containers. Anything they can put stuff in and drag along with them they’re there for. Sometimes we have too many things full of stuff. I thought maybe I can keep a designated item they’re allowed to keep full! Hah. Both Clark and Ada are getting these this year.
