A Country Couple Wed
The bridesmaids were crying as they started the processional. The bride and her father were crying as they walked down the isle and the groom was crying as he saw his soon to be wife in her gorgeous champagne gown. "Walk hand in hand, heart and heart," Pastor John Marcucci said. The ceremony was sweet and personal. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor were introduced to their guests and cheers echoed through the church.
This country couple had an elegant wedding but mixed in their own style so perfectly. Zach and his groomsmen wore camouflage ties that actually matched his camouflage wedding band. Zach and Lauren shared their first dance to Blake Shelton's "Mine Would Be You," and their camouflage ribboned cake which was unique and delicious had a deer and fawn bridal topper.
Before the reception started, trucks lined the parking lot and the bridal party hung out drinking moonshine out of mason jars. They even got me to try it, hah. The reception then started off with a humorous speech from the Best Man. He let the bride and groom know how lucky they were that their wedding wasn't during the start of hunting season or else they'd be missing a lot of guests, including the groom. Maid-of-Honor/Sister of the bride, followed that speech with a special song sung by her and their mother. They made up their own words to Sonny and Cher's "I got you babe." It was a hit! The dinner was yummy. The DJ was great and the dance floor was full, and I must say country line dancing is an art form. Zach and Lauren were so fun to work with, congrats to this incredible couple.
