A 50's inspired engagement session in Pittsburgh, PA.

​I am so excited to share these engagement photos! The lovely Bride-To-Be, Mackenzie, is a former college friend and roommate. I was there to witness the budding romance between her and fiance, Dwayne. 

Mackenzie and Dwayne currently reside in Charlotte, North Carolina, but their nuptials will be in the Pittsburgh area, where they both grew up. While they were home over Easter weekend, we were able to get together to take these 50's inspired photos.  Between Mackenzie's red lipstick and Dwayne's fedora, it felt like we went back in time. We were attracting attention all over the city as we we started photographing at the Omni William Penn Hotel and then made our way to The Pennsylvanian Union Station. There was a bit of a hiccup when we got to The Pennsylvanian. CONSTRUCTION. We should have known, Pittsburgh and construction are a normal pair. But the orange netting and cones did not stop us.

The love and creativity of these two makes me so excited for their wedding next spring!
