A White Barn Wedding

Sarah and Doug first met when he filled in for a friend on his paper route, they were just 12 years old. The rest is history!

July 28th was a cool and slightly breezy summer day, perfect for an outdoor ceremony. A former student of Sarah's played the music, the flower girls threw hearts cut out of book pages that had belonged to Sarah's grandmother and the groom had everyone shedding tears as Sarah's father walked her through the field and down the aisle.

The gorgeous flowers were arranged by the maid of honor's mother, the guys went casual with suits from Banana Republic, the girls wore dresses from Old Navy and Sarah's gown was from MB Bride in Greensburg, PA. The girls then topped off their outfits with cowboy boots. (One of my favorite accessories.)

We were lucky enough to get every guest in a photo after the ceremony, we made the biggest heart I have ever seen and put the bride and groom inside it! This was the most cooperative bunch I've ever met in my life, thank you all!

The reception offically got started when the groom laced up his Puma high tops and pulled out moves only Usher and JT know how to do. An enormous cookie table and outdoor bar fueled the guest as they got their groove on and passed around the DJ's mic working the crowd well into the evening. Sarah and Doug really are two of the kindest, most awesome people I know and I am so excited we were able to photograph their wedding day. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Werner!
